Cassidy Chen

Cassidy Chen is a 23 year old fashion photographer based in Vancouver BC. As an image maker, she photographs campaigns for brands, artists, and public figures. Originally inspired by creative storytelling with dolls as a little girl, she has experienced exponential growth and respect from reputable agencies and clients in Canada, along with being an internationally growing force. As a young woman of colour, Cassidy is proud of her Chinese Canadian heritage and her voice. With this in mind, she leads with empathy and makes it a priority to make her clients and models feel comfortable and confident throughout her work process. Her photography is described as immersive, vibrant, and emotive, while constantly breaking the barriers to what is possible in creative storytelling. Cassidy has been named on the 2026 Forbes 30 Under 30 Art + Style list, and the 2025 Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards in recognition of her emerging talent. Ultimately, she aims to inspire young artists of colour to pursue art as a career path, a rare accessible goal for many coming from immigrant backgrounds.
